My Update
On Wednesday I went for my HSG. That was definately an experience. It was done in the hospital and my mom came with me. Well when I went in, the nurses explained everything to me and they were really great. The doctor was great too. When they began the procedure, I actually felt more uncomfortable than usual with the speculum that they used than with my reg. ob/gyn. The doctor said that he couldn't understand why I was having such a bad reaction to that. Anyway, I have no blockages and my tubes are clear, but he did see something on my left ovary which was the cysts. During the procedure, the speculum broke inside of me and it scared the crap out of me. He mentioned to the nurse that it wasn't the first time that this happened.
Today I went back to my ob/gyn. My blood tests came back good with the exception of my estrogen level was a little low. She said that with some women, its higher on the 4th day of your period. She gave me 2 options on what to do next - either keep trying for another 2-3 months to see if I get pregnant or do the lapo to get rid of the cysts and the endometriosis. I opted for the lapo, so now I have to make an appt with a specialist that she referred me to.
I finally got my Clearblue Easy Fertility Monitor off of E-bay, but stupid me, I placed a bid on one that didn't end until today and last night I placed a bid on another because I had a feeling that I was going to be out bidded on the earlier one. Well just my luck, I won both. Once I receive them, I'm going to sell one of them. I'll post when I'm ready to sell it if anyone is interested.

Re: My Update
Well congrats on your good news with the HSG. I know a few women that have gotten pg with endometriosis...how old are you? Have you considered seeing an RE?

Re: My Update
That's great news that your HSG was clear. Can I ask how they know or suspect you have endometriosis? I am afraid of this myself... could you FM me if you feel more comfortable?

Thanks. My friend has endometriosis and has 3 healthy boys. I'm 34. The specialist that my ob/gyn referred me to is a RE.

I have a history of cysts, so when my dr wanted an updated sonogram, it showed 2 cysts on my left ovary. That was in February. I went for 2 more in April and June to see if anything changed and nothing did. Both times the report came back and suggested that its endometriosis. My doctor told me that the only way to know for sure is doing a lapo. Usually with endometriosis, you have painful periods, which is strange because mine aren't that painful. I have noticed that my cycle is changing. I'm usually 28 days, but no its getting longer, not to mention that when I have my period and the lining is shedding, usually a lot comes out, but now, is very little that is coming out. Sorry, I know its TMI. So tomorrow, I'm calling the RE to make an appointment.
