MY ultrascreen today!!
Can;t believe I just posted this under DH's name!!
WELL ... Baby P was head down and they couldn't get the measurments. The Dr. had to come and shake my belly like a bowlful of jelly!! So then baby starts moving -- kicking and touching his/her face - it was amazing. My mom who is 78 and has 6 kids but never saw an ultrasound, was in awe. I was too.
Heartbeat good and strong. Measuring exactly where I should be.
Then ... the results of the blood work along with all the u/s information - odds for Downs went from 1 in 35 to 1 in 1,700!! And the other test was even better odds.
I was so nervous, at my age. Dr tells me nothing to worry about. So, no invasive amnio for me!!

Mom and I both cried - something DH would not have done.
The sonogram isn't very clear since it is no longer an internal, but I will post tomorrow. After the appt. I went back to mom's and had dinner, then my sis came over and we had borthday cake - and I have been out since noon and am just burnt.

That is great that everything is looking wonderful!! I brought my mom to my first appt since DH couldn't make it with his new job. She was so excited. It is great that you shared that experience with her!
