My son won't nap...
I thought if you had one bad sleeper, the next one was supposed to sleep for you?!
Anyway-- I cannot get my almost 6 month old to nap. He has been doing ok at night, but he barely naps during the day.
A lot of it has to do with being a light sleeper, and having to work into DD's schedule with pick up and drop off. Every now and then I get a good nap-- but then it's nothing the rest of the day.
I am going insane! Any tips..

Re: My son won't nap...
DD is the same age and I will not rub it in, but an incredible napper. She sleeps most of the day.....but anyway. We try to put her in at the first signs of her being tired. Either yawning, rubbing her eyes, etc.
Does he cry when you put him down? Could he be overtired??

Re: My son won't nap...
he is def overtired because he won't nap. He will fall asleep in car, but will wake when I take car seat out, even if I don't touch him, etc.
His AM nap is disrupted because of taking Sasha to camp, and will fall asleep on way back-- but he's in the car, etc.
I actually just got him down by reading a book, which we do at bedtime. Maybe thats the trick.
YOu would think with #2 you'd actually know what you are doing!

DD is the same way in the carseat. She wakes once I take her inside. If I have the time I'll put the carseat right onto the stroller and walk around the block instead of taking her inside. Stretching a 10 min. nap into even 20 or 25 makes a big difference for DD.

My son won't nap...
DS 7 months and I have days where he will not nap at all and then others where I feel like he is napping all day. I think they just go through phases.

Re: My son won't nap...
My DD is 5 1/2 months and a cat napper... Takes 3 or 4 20-30 min naps per day usually. I would also love her to take better naps... She sleeps 12 hours at night though so feel like I can't complain!
