My Shower this past Saturday!!!
It poured this past Saturday for me!!! My mom and MIL threw me a wonderful shower at the Rosewood Inn in Melville. Everything was perfect. The staff at Rosewood was great and the food (a brunch buffet) was really good.
FIL made adorable baby girl cake pops for centerpieces. Everyone loved them!
I got lots of great stuff, but there were two very special gifts. My mom had my childhood "blankie" replicated and I cried like a baby when I saw it. My sister had a sign made for the baby's room that says, "See you in the morning...see you tomorrow, Sure Will!" That was something I made up when I was a little girl and I said it every night before I went to bed. My nephews now say it with my sister every night. It was very special.
The cake was a replica of my invitation - a little girl all decked out in Tiffany Blue.
It was a wonderful time 
ETA: They also did a really cool wishing well idea - Baby Girl hair accessories. I got so many headbands, hats, and bows!
