my OB is closing her practice
I couldnt believe it when i got the phone call today. The secretary told me she is sick and retiring and i have to find a new doctor! So of course i was freakin b/c i am 34 weeks and to have to switch now is such a pain and inconvenience, so i called a practice who i was going to go with orignally before i choose my current OB, and they accepted me and had me come in right away so they could get me seen and started in their practice, There are 4 doctors though (my current doctor had her own practice and the ocvering doctor i didnt love that much) so pretty much whoever is on the call the night u give birth is who you see. The doctor i saw today was awesome, i really liked her and they are going to try and rotate it so i can meet all the doctors before i give birth. Pretty much i have no choice at this point, hopefully it will all work out.

It will be fine. 95% of the experience is about the nurses at the hospital anyway. The doctor just comes in at the very end to catch the baby, the nurse coaches you through the labor!!

geez. i'm sorry - couldn't she hold off 2 more months!!! I'm glad you like the new practice. My doctor is in a group too of 6 doctors and they will have me rotate with each toward the end too...
