My night in Labor and Delivery and ER
So at almost 26 weeks, last night Dh and I DTD. We weren't rough or anything. Trust me, TMI but we have been a lot rougher. Well anyway, after we finished I went into the BR and cleaned up and found A LOT of blood. Fear instantly kicked it. I have heard of spotting but not bleeding like that. I told Dh I wanted to go to the hospital and in a matter of 2 minutes we were in the car. I called my OB and he met me at the hospital. They hooked me up to a bunch of monitors. Hearing her heartbeat was the greatest thing that could have happened. They kept me there 8 hours until the bleeding had stopped. Not going to lie but after having been up 23 hours already with no sleep, I just wanted to go home. There was such a minimal amount of what I think was left ovr blood so I told her I was fine and we were good to go. OB thinks I bruised my cervix. Now on light duty. They told me bed rest today but I didnt have a choice and had to come to work. DH is with me today and I am sitting while he works. Not a fun night. I was such an emotional wreck last night. I really tried to remain calm because I didnt want to put anymore stress on the baby but it's not easy to do when you think it could all be over.

Oh man how scary!!! I am so happy that everything is ok with your LO. Even though you're at work try to put your feet up and get in bed as soon as you get home.

That happened to us in my last pregnancy! It was so scary, but baby was absolutely fine and I delivered around 39 weeks so it didn't cause anything like preterm labor or anything bad

Yes! It was a lot. And it was actually even more embarrassing because my mom was staying with us at the time. Try having to explain what caused your bleeding to your mom

Yes! It was a lot. And it was actually even more embarrassing because my mom was staying with us at the time. Try having to explain what caused your bleeding to your mom
thank you. Its better when you hear you're not alone and others made it through.
