Hi ladies! Hope everyone is well! I have not been posting much lately.. lots going on at the moment.. but I wanted to come on and update on my situation a little..
I saw my new OB (one that was recc'd by some of you lovely ladies) and was very happy with her! She seems very nice and compassionate and most importantly- a DOWN TO BUSINESS type of doctor. she discussed all our options and sent me for bloodwork to check on my hormones, etc. I went the next day for the bloodwork (I am not wasting any time ) and she called me a little less than a week later and told me that everything seemed normal, but she wanted me to go ahead and schedule an RE appt because of the cyst I have on 1 of my ovaries and the fact that my cycles are so irregular.
So I made an appt w/ the RE she recc'd and she was great also! I have to go for a little more bloodwork because she said I might have a mild Adrenal gland issue... and she also wants to check on my insulin resistance. But she is another down to business doc, so I was very pleased. She said if the bloodwork comes back that it is just the cyst thing going on that is causing me not to ovulate then I can start Clomid right away... if there is an insulin issue then I will start Metformin. I am pretty sure I remembered that right, but we will go into more detail once I meet with her after the bloodwork is back. She's going to also do another sonogram to check on the cyst because the last one I had done was a few months ago.
Sorry this was so long, but you girls are great and I could use all the support I can get right now.. I am SO excited but SO nervous too. OOH I almost forgot- I have high blood pressure now too. So, she told me to speak to my PCP and get on a pregnancy-friendly BP medicine.. and to tell my PCP that I am going through fertility treatment and will most likely be pregnant within the next 6 months... GOD I hope she is right!

Wow- Your Docs sounds great! I am happy that everything went so well with your appts. I know your nervous but it sounds like your in great hands and your doctors sounds pretty confident.
