My New IVF Journal -UPDATED

I figured I'd do a new journal. I saw dr b today and started my protocol today!

12/6/10 - cd2, sono and bw
We are skipping bc of my lining issues, trying a whole new protocol hopefully this is the one for me

Meds: follistim 450 units
Lovenox 40mg
Baby aspirin
Prednisone 10mg 2x day
Viagra supps 2x day
Vitamin E 600mg day
Fish oil 2x day
Antioxidants
Prenatals

I add Luveris on wed, never used this before, has anyone else? Then I see dr b fridayb

12/10/10 - saw dr b, he's very happy with my progress. My lining is already at a 9 something, which is good for me. He said I had 5 or so bigger follies on the right with the lead at a 12, same on the left.

I have to keep on the same protocol but we added the luveris and we added ganirelix and cipro on sunday, getting close! Had to stop fish oil, baby aspirin and lovenox!

Going out for happy hour to celebrate my bday I'm hoping this is my LAST bday I have to celebrate with Dr. B

I go back Monday

12/13/10 - check up with dr b today, we are both happy with my progress.

I'm sooooo bloated and my tummy feels soooo heavy!

Right now we have a bunch of small follies on each side and atleast 5 on each side with leads at 17! Dr B thinks when I go in for my check on wednesday I should be ready for trigger

My lining is at 12 something and its pretty much better than any other cycle!

So im crossing my fingers for wednesday, that would bring me to a Friday ER and either a Monday or Wednesday ET, we are shooting for Wednesday but we will see.

I'm also going to have Intralipids this Wednesday and will be doing accupuncture before and after both ER/ET at AFS

12/17/10 Update


12/19/10- Got a call from the embryologist yesterday, she said 6 of the 10 embryos fertilized, but possibly another 1-2, she couldnt' tell yet. She said she would call me on Monday and let me know. As of right now we are schduled for a 5dt on Wednesday!

I'm still so bloated I can't stand it! I feel so much pressure in my abdomen, TMI but when my bladder is full it hurts until I go, and when I go
It doesn't feel like an infection (im on Cipro anyway) but more just like pressure due to bloating Im guessing

I'm so nervous to hear from them tomorrow to see how many embies made it!

I'm on luveris now. It's just a little LH to go with the FSH. I have had no side effects.

i used luveris in my IVF cause the BC suppressed me SO much that i needed the kick of LH to jump start things. ironic for me since i have PCOS and chronically high LH .
anyway it worked great. no real side effects. annoying to mix but nothing major.

Thanks everyone! Same for me no BC because it's one of many things that mess up my lining! I really hope we all start 2011 with BFP's!
