My mom is in the hospital
My sister just called to tell me she had to take my mom to the hospital. My mom has a blood disorder and developed severe swelling. She went to the ER and they sent her home. She saw her doctor today who was ENRAGED that the ER sent her home. She needs platlets and has a blood clot that could possibly spread to her lungs. Hopefully they'll be able to take care of her.
I am sick to my stomach right now.

I'm on the verge of tears right now because it's never good when she gets hospitalized. She's been so low on platlets and blood that the doctors were shocked she didn't have a heart attack. Now she has a clot and is swelling. My mind is racing.

I know first hand how stressful this is for you. Is she in the same area as you?
Even if you know that she will be fine, it is very scary. Would you feel better if you went to see her in the hospital? Thank goodness she went to the doctor to catch it.
Even if this doesn't make you feel any better, you should be a bit more secure knowing that your sister is there and she is not all alone. I'll be thinking of you

as long as the clot hasn't broken off and caused a pulmonary embolism yet, they have drugs to dissolve it. A dangerous situation, but mercifully her Dr. prevented the disaster!
