My homeowners SHOT UP this year!!!!
It went from $620 to $871 (I'm in NC). I can't believe it! I called Allstate and he said that it's from Katrina, being a coastal state, and a couple of other reasons I couldn't even remember. He said all the companies will be increasing their rates.
Are you guys in NY getting increases like this, too?

We got canelled by Allstate last year and the excuse was hurricaines.

I'm in NJ and it went up about $250 so now for the year it is a little over $1000

WOW...we just paid our homeowner's insurance and the amount was the same as last year. We're in NC, too.
