My Glider came in!!
I'm so excited, our glider came last night...and DH put it together right away for me!!!! 
It's pretty comfy...if anyone is still looking for one, we ordered it from Target....

I really want one. The one I really like at BRU is $500  not including the foot rest.
Does target display any of these in the store. So far I went to two Targets and they didn't have any out. How much was the one you got?

I had the same issue with the ones at BRU - I just couldn't justify spending that much...
We didn't see this in person, I read all of the reviews on Target.com and took comfort in the fact that I believe Shermag is one of the manufacturers that Baby Bargains reccomends...this one was $249.99 plus tax and shipping...not bad at all!!

UGH! Back ordering STINKS!! My dresser is back ordered from JC Penney until September 15th (the baby will be a month old)  And we ordered it in APRIL

Alright I'm getting the same one as you except in Honey/Oatmeal color.
I'm really happy with all the reviews I've read. It doesn't make sense to me either to buy the Dutailer one BRU. The chair itself was $500 and the foot rest another $200.

YEA!! I've been sitting in a few minutes each night - my decompressing time - I love it!
I agree - I LOVED the Dutalier, but I just couldn't justify that much money...this was a great alternative for us!

Mine came in yesterday!!! It was waiting for me at my front door step after work.
DH put it together in not time and it is soooo comfortable and sturdy. I'm really impressed and very happy with the purchase. It fits perfectly in my nursery. I was a little nervouse buying it online without being able to test it but sometimes you just have to take the chance.
It could be me just getting wider but I think the one I sat in at BRU (the Dutailer one) was a little roomier and the arm rests were longer but no big deal. This one is just as comfortable and the quality is there. I'm happy I spent $250 rather than $700

Should be delivered today!!!

YEA!! I am glad that you like it!! I agree, the Dutalier was a little roomier, but this one isn't uncomfortably snug or anything...I find it comfortable! And like you said,for the difference b/w $250 and $700 I can sacrifice a little bit of excess seat space!!

Ok now I am really depressed! My parents bought us the same glider as an anniversary gift. It came today and when DH went to take it out of the box a piece of the back of the chair was broken off.
You can't return it to the store b/c it is online only so now I have to wait for them to ship out a new one and for UPS to pick up the broken one.
Good thing I don't need it yet!!! I was just so excited to put something into DD room since it just got painted this past weekend. Oh well...
I'm glad you guys had better luck! How do you like it?

I'm sorry to hear a piece was broken...maybe they could just ship a replacement piece to you, instead of a whole new chair? I don't know if that would be any faster...
But take comfort that the chair is SUPER comfy (IMO) so once you get it together, it will be great!!

I wish but the piece of wood was actually broken off (not a clean break or a separate piece).
I'm glad to hear that it is comfortable though!

Oh that stinks about the broken piece. They deliver it pretty quickly so you're sure to have it by the end of this week.
I went home for my lunch hour today and sat in mine for a few minutes. It's very comfortable.
