My friend was an egg donor
She gave me great news yesterday that she is pregnant. We were talking and then she told me about 10 years ago she was an egg donor.
Not only am I happy about her pregnancy I'm in awe of her for being so selfless. She said she needed the money at the time but she realized how wonderful it was to be able to do that.
Dh thought I might be upset because of course almost everyone we know has a kid or is pregnant but I'm not. For her, I'm thrilled even though it took one month for it to happen a little jealous but she is getting a gift and she gave a gift. Good for her!
Just my perspective on this situation.

That is so wonderful. You have a great friend, I don't know if I could be so selfless as to do what she did. She is very brave!
