My first sono..update at bottom
is tomorrow! I will be 1 day short of 7 weeks..a little nervous but excited and praying that everything is okay and we see a heartbeat. I can't believe I'm already 7 weeks!

thank you! ugh i hope i sleep tonight, im getting more nervous, the worst though is the wait in the exam room. i just wish they wouldnt call you until they were ready.

So, I went in, saw the sono and heartbeat and got a pic (couldnt hear it yet though). She basically said everything was good but it was measuring 1 day behind..trying not to worry and remember its 1 day. Will go back in 2 weeks for a 9 week appointment and hopefully can hear the heartbeat at that point and it measures well.
Also, she wanted me to go for an early glucose test. So thats Saturday.
Then she scheduled my 12 week and also sound that I should schedule my ultrascreen at the hospital for 12 weeks..
So, all in all it was good. But Im so nervous and its taking away my joy plus Im feeling so sick that Im getting very down.

Congrats!! One day is NOTHING - please do NOT stress over this. I was literally a WEEK behind at my first appointment and now I am 33 weeks pregnant with a healthy pregnancy!!! All is going well. I just ovulated way later than I thought - maybe you did too, or you implanted a day later.

Don't worry about measuring a day behind! My first soon was at 8 weeks, and I was measuring 4 days behind. The dr. said that was well within the normal margin of error, and never was at all concerned about it. I'm almost 18 weeks now, and everything is progressing nicely.
As far as feeling sick, I know it is hard to imagine now but it will pass! In a few weeks you will be feeling more like yourself again!
Good luck at your next appointment. I'm sure everything is just fine!

okay you guys are making me feel much better about it! plus im reading all the birth stories right now, to try to focus on the big picture rather than how sick i am. i love them!

Don't worry about how you are measuring, the dr told me that in the first trimester it is normal to measure up to 5 days behind

1 day behind is PERFECT -- that's not behind! Sometimes if you ovulate at one point and it implants a little later or the sperm gets in there a tiny bit later, that can happen. You have a baby with a heartbeat growing in you!!!!!!!!
By 9 weeks, the baby will look like a real baby! I know 2 weeks seems like forever, but it's not that far away! Just keep taking deep breaths and you'll get there!
Try not to be too nervous! Just keep reading up on the do's and don't of being pregnant, and start looking at furniture and bedding -- you know, the fun stuff.

sono at 7 weeks both twins were measuring small and days behind
8 week sono they both grew so much and one doubled in size
one day is fine i promise!

glad everything went well!! @ my first appointment i measured 2 days behind so it's nothing to worry about. scheduling your ultrascreen at 12 weeks is normal.. that's when they always try and do them.. i had mine 12w3d
good luck & feel better.. i remember how sick i felt in the beginning & all i did was sleep.. u'll snap out of it soon, don't worry
