My First 5K
I did my first 5K on Sunday. It was so beyond hot and it was alot harder than I thought it was going to be. I'm used to running 3 - 4 miles but I guess the heat was slowing me up. I finished in 32.25 minutes which wasn't bad. I was more psyched that I did better than my husband!!

I have to say the heat was tough but they had sprinklers and people on the street spraying everyone so it helped.
It's an Annual Father's Day Run in Deer Park. It's for 9 11 - really great memorial and a great day to spend w/family/spouses, etc.
