My DIY frame project
I love the look of framed intaglios; however, they are super pricey if you buy them retail. So after searching high and low at custom frame shops, and not finding the frames that I needed, I decided to try to make them myself.
Here's my inspiration photo:

I know they are not perfectly aligned, but we're moving soon so they are coming down anyway.
I purchased 11x14 frames at Hobby Lobby for $3 each. I painted the frames with metallic taupe paint, then applied an antiquing paint. I chose the mats and openings, and had Hobby Lobby cut them out for me. The intaglios were purchased from a UK seller via ebay. I'm so happy with how they turned out! Thanks for letting me share!
