My DH is a Vet!! He was in Bosnia. I'm so proud of him. He is upset he couldn't celebrate today being he is at work. GRRR
Thanks to all the Vets!
That's messed that a Vet should have to work today.

Both my grandfathers and one of my greatgrandfather were in WWII (Although they HAD TO!  )
My granduncle was in the Algerian war (also had to!)

My late grandfather is a WWII vet with 2 purple hearts. 
My late uncle was a career navy man.

and My Great Grandpa was in World War II my Dad has his helmet still

my grandfather was in the Navy in WWII
my other grandfather was younger and missed WWII, but was in the coast guard. (he was from Ohio, and thought the coast guard just "guarded the coast" - he had no idea he had to go on a boat  )
my father was in the marines, but not for a long time - he got a medical discharge

My dad served in the Air Force in Vietnam. His dad served in the Army in WWII, as did my great-grandfather. My step-great-grandpa served in the Navy in WWI, and my great-great-great grandpa served in the NY Cavalry in the Civil War. And DH is a U.S Marine who served in Operation Iraqi Freedom.
We are VERY proud of our service members on this end!

My Grandfather was a WWII vet. He was in the Navy and I am very proud of him also. I am proud of who he was every day of my life. I miss him

Both of my step-grandfathers were in WWII. And my brother was in the Navy for 6 years.

My daddy is an Israeli army veteran and fought in both the Six Day War and the Yom Kippur War.
My grandpa fought in Israel's War for Independence in 1947,

My daddy is a vet of the army.
He loves to mention the Hungarian Uprising???
But for the most part his service was pretty tame for the time period.
We love him just the same.
I am so proud of our vets as well as all that are serving currently!!!!!!!!
I cannot even measure the gratitude I have for them all!!!

My DH's Dad was an Air Force pilot and did 2 tours in Veitnam. He also flew air rescue for the Apollo Gemini missions.
Sadly, he passed away when DH was only 17, so I never had the opportunity to meet him
God Bless him and all our veterans!!!
ETA: DH's uncle was in the Army and died while fighting in Vietnam
