Aw what a blast from the past!
I haven't listened to them in a while, but I am a fan.
And I loved the episode of full house where they were stranded on the island but somehow managed to find the beach boys.

Well it's not really them anymore. It's the most recent incarnation of the Beach Boys.
God Only Knows was my parents' wedding song and the 2nd song played at my wedding.
Plus whenever it plays at the end of Love Actually I get all choked up.

Nothing at all to be embarassed about, one of my favorite albums of all time is Sunflower by the Beach Boys. I have seen Brian Wilson do his live show a few times in the last few years and I have never seen so many grown men crying.
I love the Beach Boys, and I am bloody proud of it.
eta...can I please clarify, I love the original Beach Boys line up, anything going outside of the 70's, I am not really a fan of. Its the Brian Wilson Beach Boys that I adore...(not to be pedantic)its that sort of reformation of the Beach Boys that makes me feel a bit uneasy.

Nothing to really be emabarresed about. I grew up listening to the origianl Beach Boys and i love them. I can honestly say i don't really listen to much music from this "era". My mom alwasy said i should have been born in the 60's or 70's because i listen to pretty much anything up to the 80's and early 90's.
