Do you mean Clarisonic? If that's the one I LOVE it. Have been in love with this brush ever since I got it as a Christmas gift from my former boss about 3 years ago. It's amazing!
I'm always telling women to buy it even though it's so Chat Icon

I'm not sure if this is what the OP means , but this is the one I have :

link

Now this is just to give you an idea what it is and what it does, you can google it and maybe find a better price , or free shipping or something. Or you can try Clarisonic.com . I have Clarisonic classic (I think)

It makes your skin so smooth and soft and makes you glow.

i got the MIA http://www.clarisonic.com/us/shop/sonic-cleansing-system-mia.php

it is 150 and i got it at sephora.
it has the same sized brush head as the more expensive one, but the handle is just smaller.

it moves 300 motions in one second and you use it on your face for one minute -it shuts off after one minute, and you do 20 seconds here, 20 seconds there, etc. you use a cleanser - nothing grainy.

my skin has never looked better - no black heads, glowing skin, etc.

it even helps your skincare lotion absorb better.

many spas use it during facials.

google clairsonic skincare reviews - most people LOVE it

i have sensitive skin and my skin has been fine.Chat Icon

nope. i use neutrogena. you can use whatever you like. :) they advise not to use anything grainy, because the brush really exfoliates on its own and it would probably get irritated easily with a grainy scrub.

I haven't used it with their cleanser since I first got it and came with a little bottle. I also use it with Neutrogena (or any other cleanser)

I have been thinking about this brush for years now, before they had the pink one, before you could buy it at Sephora...but...still haven't gotten it...

but I haven't heard anything bad yet...I guess I want to give it some time before investing that much into skin care equipment

This is making me want to go buy it though

Re: my clarisonic skincare brush...

Is it similar to Youthful Essence by Susan Lucci stuff? I have that one but have noticed that it changed in the past year-you get less of it for your money and the consistency of the crystals in the scrub is just not the same...Chat Icon

I guess the idea is the same maybe? But the Clarisonic is a spinning brush. It really unclogs dirt and oil more effectively.
It can get your face cleaner than just using your hands On the website, they show pics I think that show residue left over from a regular face cleaning vs. using the brush.

Re: my clarisonic skincare brush...

I dont get besides the fact that this brush rotates, why its worth $160?
I use my $8 face brush from the Body Shop and LOVE it. So much better than using your hands or a washcloth to clean you face. But if this brush you recommend is really that much better...I might try itChat Icon

Re: my clarisonic skincare brush...

I heart mine too. I keep it in the shower and recharge it every few days. I have tried tons of exfoliating "systems" from washcloths to buf-pufs to more expensive drug store systems and the clarisonic is sturdier and cleaner than anything else. I also like that you can use any cleanser with it.

I have a cheap version from Homedics that does the exact same thing- comes with the brush, a suction cup for blackheads that I never use, a micro derm pad and a massager for moisturizer and it was like $40

The difference is that the Clarisonic spins about 300 times in a second and really gets into each pore and gets dirt, makeup, oil, whatever out of it. When you use a manual brush or another spinning brush, it doesn't quite accomplish the same thing.

It feels good when you use it, you're not supposed to press hard, and it's not billed as an exfoliator. It's to be used to cleanse the face, but personally I find that it does exfoliate because the dead, dull skin on my face does get removed, but not the same way an exfoliator does. An exfoliator usually feels rough and makes my skin flushed a bit, but the Clarisonic doesn't.

Now if you're using a manual or other type of brush and are happy with it, then that's awesome! I personally love the clarisonic, love the timer, love that you can use any cleanser with it (I use the Philosophy Purity cleanser these days), etc.

good luck! i am sure you will be more than happy.

i've had issues with my skin all my life - been on retin a, differn, etc..and after a week of use..holy moly. this product has literally changed my life.

my skin is not only clear & no blackheads, but GLOWING!

i think because it cleans so deeply and thorough that when i go to put on panoxyl ( a benzoyl peroxide cream at 10 % - great for skin issues), it penetrates deeper and works better.

Does anyone know where you can get one of these brushes for cheaper? I would love to get one, but can't see myself paying that $$ now.
