my child can NOT play by himself
my 3 year old has to constantly have something to do and someone to play with. being trapped in the house since friday afternoon, I am going insane. he can not do anything alone. I am shot. any ideas?

My almost 3 yo is exactly the same. It's so hard  I can't get anything done with Him being up my butt! I give him the kindle or iPad if I really need a break

honestly i would put on his favorite tv show or movie get a cup of coffee and relax for a few minutes, even if you have to sit next to him,

try leaving the room. this is what i recently had to resort to in order to not lose my mind. and my sons have each OTHER ! and they still demand 24/7 attention from me. If i have to go to the bathroom, its an all out hysterical melt down. so i started leaving them in a safe area (gates), and leaving the room for short increments of time, start with 10 then move up. Leave him an activity, fav toy etc and when he starts to fuss reassure from another room..."mommy will be right back"
