My boys have kept it exciting to the very end....
Last Thursday, at 31W5D my water broke. I rushed to the hospital and was given steroids, my contractions were already 2 min apart They gave me mag (HORRID) and did everything they could to hold off labor, but my boys wanted to meet the world. On Sun, August 14 at 8:37 and 8:39am, Luka Anthony and Marco Cristiano came screaming into the world
They are VERY TEENY and need a lot of help right now
We have had some setbacks,and we have had some miracles. The only thing I know for sure is this week has been the most challenging of my entire life.
I was discharged yesterday The boys are expected to stay in the NICU for another month or so, if God willing all goes well
Good Sam, the nurses and especially Dr. Pilliteri have been amazing and I know my lil men are in the best possible place.
I could really use some

Congratulations and many prayers for a quick NICU stay!!!
I had my DS at 31w6d last year. He was 3lbs 6oz. I was able to get both steroid shots for his lungs (JUST barely got the second one as I needed an emergency c/s minutes after I got it). He was so tiny, but a fighter for sure. He stayed in the NICU for 1 month and was about 4 1/2 lbs when he came home. FM me if you have any questions or want to talk or whatever. The NICU stay can be hard, but know that they are in good hands there!

My nieces were born 4 years ago at 28 weeks weighing 2.8 lbs...They were in nicu for 3 months and are now very active and healthy 4 year olds. Their parents had good days and bad days. Wiith prayer, hope and faith, Im sure your little ones will strive and come home all big and STRONG
