My birth story....
Ok so Friday morning at 5:30 we head out to the hospital in the pouring rain, get there and check in.... by 5:45 i was upstairs and getting ready, they did not waste any time at all....6 AM DH was in the room with me, i had the IV in and the outfit on, and all the works, my blood presure was very high bc i got myself very worked up about having the surgery so they had to calm me down or i would have to be put to sleep, sooooooooooooo i got myself calmn and by 7:30 I was in the OR, i was very scared, and shaking and crying not bad crying but wimpering. The team was great, the spinal was really nothing, you do not even feel it going in at all, it was great and before i knew it my whole body from my boobs down was dead..... so they said dh can come in and he sat next to me and we were talking,, and the nurse at my head said did you knowt that they started already and she will be out in 5 mintues i was like 
i did not even know they started which is awsome bc i did not feel anything. All i heard was all the Dr.'s say OMG WHAT A BIG GIRL!!!! MAdison was born at 8:18 on April 27, 2007 weighing 9 pounds 12 ounces.... 21 and half inches long.......
as they looked over her all looked good and they were taking her up to the nursery and finished me up... by 9 i was in recovery and doing good just sleepy no pain at all... I got to my room at about 11, and they said they would bring her to us so we can feed her, i still had not seen her since birth, then after a half hour she still was not there, so dh and my mom went to the nursery to find out she was in NICU....
MAdsion was born with a heart mumer and having a hard time breathing, so they took her in there. i was not able to see her until about 10:30 PM bc i could not get out of bed yet from the section, DH took as many pics of her as he could for me whiich is still not the same and he could not touch her yet either.... soooooooooooo she had a breathing tube, oxygen and iv for the first 2 days, then started to feed her 15 cc of a bottle to get her trying and by Monday she was up to 3 ounces with no tubes in her at all and doing it on her own!!! so now she drinks 4 ounces at a time and wants more but i don't think so!!!
She is great and happy to finally be home after being in there for 5 days drives you crazy!! The surgery is not bad at all and i would do it again in a heart beat instead of labor!! i feel great and doing things around the house already, cleaning and stuff with no problem at all, i feel small and it is great again to be in regular clothing!! we are going to the Dr. tomorow to see if MAdison is ok since being home, but no problems this far so we are great!!!

I'm so happy she's home and that she's safe - that must have been so scary!!! LOVE that she's eating 4ozs already!
Can't wait to see more pics!
Oh - and try not to do TOO much stuff around the house - you have to milk the c-section for a little while at least!

So happy to hear that everything went well although that she had to go to the NICU for a bit. Sounds like she is doing really well at home now.

so glad to see/hear everything is ok - we need some pics mama!!!
take it easy w/ the csection - I was just like you, but after a few days felt a lot of pain from overdoing it - you are still healing...

Boy you have one good eater there!!!! My eldest daughter was like that..She was on 4 oz every 3 hours when she came home from the hospital too...
