My "baby" starts school today *We survived drop off*
Where did the time go?
We had her school picnic on Saturday and I teared up there. I'm going to be a mess today. I need to hold it together until I'm outside the school.
I am SO excited for her though. She got into a great Montessori school and I know she is going to love it. She loves learning and being around other kids so this is really going to be so good for her.

aww my baby starts school in a couple weeks...I know I'm going to be a mess...
What makes it even more sentimental is it's going to be the school I went to..
I am really curious to see how he will like it...let us know how her day went

My "baby" starts Kindergarten in 2 weeks. I am a MESS!! I am a teacher you think I'd be able to handle it.

I'm sure that I am going to feel all the same emotions you are once my son starts school..it's so bittersweet

It's sooooooo hard, but remember, it's always harder on mommy than it is on them. If she's anything like Alex she will ADORE school and simply thrive in that environment. It will make you misty eyed all over again when you see her learning all these new things, making new friends and coming out of her shell more and more, but it's all worth it

Well we survived. I dropped her off and neither of us cried.
She was pretty excited. They were all outside playing so she got her helmet and was getting on a tricycle when I left.
DH and I are going to pick her up this evening. Of course I totally forgot to take pictures. I guess I'll take some when we go to pick her up. Things got a little hectic prior to drop off. She was refusing to wear underwear. Ummm I don't think commando would go over too well. Then she wouldn't eat lunch so I thought OK special treat I'll take her to McD's. Well it was a flipping zoo. I got stressed she was not listening. We finally got some food and regrouped before drop off.
