My babies are back!!!!
Last yr., because DH trimmed too much off the previous yr., I had gotten one bloom, but this yr. my baby blue hydrangea bush is loaded with blooms!!!!!  Mary
My pink peonies
Strawberries are coming!!!!
Ok, I'm not sure if this is mold or some kind of blight, on our Maple, because of rain; The other trees do not seem to be affected.

Thanks, Laurie!!! Can't wait to see those baby blue blooms!!! Hope the strawberries DH planted get big. I just told him we need to cover the whole garden with them, and plant a variety that gets BIG!!!  Mary

Thanks, Kerri!!! I think I recall that someone else posted also that they had an issue with their hydrangeas being cut back too far. I wanted everyone to see, that they do grow again, if they are pruned less. I was really concerned about mine!! This variety is Ever Blooming, I think. While I'm partial to my hydrangeas, the peonies get so heavy, that they fall over, looking like the bottom of a gown!!! Showed the maple to DH; Don't know what it is, but I have a feeling this tree is a survivor, after hearing DH say it was part of a tree that died, so he took the living part, planted it and now it's a HUGE tree with several trunks!!! I'll try to get a pic tomorrow. I hope the berries are good!!! The first yr. they're not suppose to be picked, so this is the first yr. we will be eating them!! Mary

Wow! That's alot of peonies! That's my most favorite flower! At my Mom's I planted about 5 of them and I thought that was alot! LOL. I only have one here b/c we rent...and I want to make it easy when we move... and having DH dig up a million plants isn't nice! HA. Beautiful so far! This is my favorite time of year!

Hi, Dani!!!! I love peonies too!!!! Did you know that ants are necessary to open the blooms? At least that's what I've been told. I'd like to bring some into the house, but I'm kinda scared I'll bring ants in too!!!  Mary
PS When my friend gave the peonies to me, we planted them around our well-cap!!!
