my 6yr old is hysterical crying for the last hour

because her best friend is gonna marry a boy in her class
and she talked to the boy on the phone and he says she looks "hot" and now she is getting dressed up for school to look "hot" for the boy

my DD is ******,upset and crying like a lunatic and wants me to call the girls mom and find out who the boy is and tell on her

did I mention she is 6

at first I thought it was funny too but she is soooo upset
she is REALLY crying...well she just finished brushing her teeth and calmed down a little but it was so serious for her

I have no idea
but my DD DOES NOT want her best friend dressing HOT for some boy

I almost feel like she is jealous that this boy will have more time with her best friend than her
she was at her bfs house and her bf was on the phone with the boy for and I quote"a hundred hours"

That is so funny (poor kid! an hour of crying though ) Last year my DS told a girl in his class that he loved her and she said "Eew!" - it was PreK!!! I think he was just jumping on the bandwagon though, a lot of the boys in the class were in love with this one girl. Is that how really hot people are? Hot even in PreK??

Aw! I loved a boy when I was 6 too...one day he came and rang the doorbell for my brother instead of me and I cried so I am kindred with your DD. **HUGS** to her.

It does start early. I teach Pre-K & already 3 of the boys all fight to hold this one little girls hand and say, you can't play w/ Maggie, she's my friend.
