Must-Haves for when baby comes home?
With less than 8 weeks to go, I'm trying to get organized and make sure we are ready for our little girl to arrive. We are Jewish, so aren't having a baby shower - most people will buy us gifts after the baby arrives. So... just wondering what are the "must haves" for when the baby first comes home? I'm making a list of all the things that we have to buy in the next few weeks so just wanted to make sure we'll have everything we need! TIA!

Re: Must-Haves for when baby comes home?
Basic basics you will need IMO:
Diapers Wipes Vaseline (you can choose something else for baby's booty, but honestly, vaseline works perfectly well, no odor, no white mess, etc).
Onesies!!! Lots of these. Bibs Socks Sleeper PJs
That's honestly what baby will live in 99% of the time.
One or two newborn hats in case your home is a bit chilly.
Receiving blankets. I tried a BUNCH and honestly the best ones are the Aden & Anais blankets. BBB sells them, they are awesome and so versatile. Swaddle baby, use it to lay baby down on, use it to cover baby's car seat if you're out, etc. If you're nursing, you can even use it as an emergency nursing cover.
If you're nursing, you are ok for when you get home. If you are formula feeding, get 4 oz bottles. I like having one day's worth of bottles etc to minimize how much time I spent at the sink washing. I'd recommend the Dr. Brown's formula pitcher if you are using powder formula. We would make enough for 1 day's worth at a time and just fill bottles as needed. I BF also and just supplemented with formula so I didn't need to much at a time at first.
I would recommend a bouncer, swing, rocker - any of these or all of them. You never know which one your baby will like, but it's great to have when you want to put baby down.
Fitted crib sheets for the crib. That's ALL you need for the crib.
Pretty much I think that's all you REALLY need at the beginning.

other than the obvious diapers/wipes etc:
baby swing baby swing baby swing.
if you're breastfeeding... boppy
eta: at 5 weeks, LO still won't sleep in his crib... so you might want to consider a bassinet or something for co-sleeping (we're co-sleeping and i love it)

Good list! Just add a boppy or a brest friend pillow if you are nursing. Also some burp cloths, or my personal favorite (Cloth diapers). I never used those fancy burp cloths. The cloth diapers work great and are super absorbent. Bibs an pacificers.
