What do you wash before baby comes home?
I washed some ( not all) clothes since we don;t know size or gender yet
Also washed towels, washclothes, sheets, changing pad cover, and blankets.
anything else need to be washed before  arrives?

If you have a boppy... wash the cover
swing - material on the swing
bouncy seat or rocker - seat
fabric on the infant carrier
if you have the no scratch mittens, those too...
there's more, but it's late, and i'm not thinking well ... lol

Mel - you are completely and totally right... I wanted to kind of give examples tho b/c sometimes you don't really realize what the baby will be touching, KWIM?

Mel - you are completely and totally right... I wanted to kind of give examples tho b/c sometimes you don't really realize what the baby will be touching, KWIM?
Oh I know it. Your list rocks. I have preggo brain in full effect and am incapable of compiling a list right now

I washed all 0-3 month clothes, blankets and sheets.

I washed:
the crib bedding and sheets
the pack and play sheets
the cradle bedding and sheets
the sleep positioner
the boppy cover
the neck rest that is on the swing
all the wash cloths
all the towels
all the mattress pads and covers.
a few stretchies- not many cause we dont know how big he will be
swaddle mes
bibs
i think that is it.. was 5 loads worth!

Definitely wash the Bundle Me. I forgot to post that along with the blankets and sheets.
I also washed the "burp cloths" so they would be all nice and soft.
Honestly, I didn't wash a lot of the hats/socks/mittens though.

Is there something harmful on the seats and such that they need to be washed? They are brand new and didnt think they needed to be washed before.

I washed all blankets...bedding...towels...washcloths...clothes up to 3 months.
I wish I didn't wash it all though...there was sooo much I never used and was stuck with because it was washed.
