Mucus Plug question
How do you know if you are losing your mucus plug as opposed to just regular discharge?

For my last pregnancy I lost my mucus plug in 2 parts. Even at half the mucus plug it was still about 10 times the size of regular discharge. Sorry for the tmi. It also has some red (blood) mixed in it.

I've been losing mine and had no idea what it was
it looks like you have a cold down there 
it looks like snot, with a yellow or sometimes greenish tinge. it could have a little pink to it but thats usually when you lose it all at once.
its also very common for it to regenerate if you lose it in pieces.
its much different from the regular PG discharge.
