Mucinex
Has anyone done this to help with TTC? Just wondering if it works?
TIA, Kelly
PS - how do you use it?

Re: Mucinex
I tried it but had an anovulatory cycle I used it. You are suppose to start it I think in CD 8 until ovulation. I took one pill of the extended release.

Re: Mucinex
either that or plain robitussin - it think the mucus membranes, including CM, and makes for a more sperm-friendly environment. helps with people (like me) who have thicker CM and don't always get EWCM.
i would take it for a few days before O up until a day or two after O.

Re: Mucinex
Since I have been on Clomid and that makes your EWCM "toxic", the Mucinex is supposed to help with that. Even though we are doing IUI's I am still taking the Mucinex in hopes that we may get the job done the good old fashion way!

Re: Mucinex
I used it starting CD8 and stopped about a day or two after ovulation. I definitely noticed a difference in my CM.

Re: Mucinex
I'm going to try it. I tried for 8 cycles to get PG and when I was sick in January I took cold medicine and got a BFP. Unfortunately, I lost the baby, but I'm thinking that the cold medicine had something to do with the conception.

Re: Mucinex
Does it have to be a certain Mucinex? And I believe it was posted that it is the plain robitusin, correct?

Re: Mucinex
No letters after the brand name. It can only have Guaifenesin as the only ingredience. FYI...if you want to save some money...Target makes a Target version of it, I got 30 tablets for 4.99 last week.
