Would you take Mucinex if you were going to have an IUI? Do I need a lot of EWCM for that?

I think that the whole idea of an IUI is that it bypasses the cervix and deposits the sperm directly into the uterus. Therefore, I don't think it's necessary to take the Mucinex because the whole CM thing is taken out of the equation.

Exactly. If you are going to do an iui and try naturally then there is no harm. that's why sperm don't live as long with an iui compared to if they lived in your cm.

Re: Mucinex

Nope. Like the others said, you don't need CM for IUI. HOWEVER, you might still want to take it or buy some preseed for the BDing you will do after the IUI! Chat Icon
