MTV-related: Isn't it funny...
that they should host a program called the "Video Music Awards" when you'd be hard-pressed to find any music or music videos on their network??

I know. Justin Timberlake pleaded twice to MTV to play more videos.
That channel is all about cheesy reality shows.
I miss the old school MTV.

the award show sounds like it resembled their reality show
Kanye was the big baby
Justin was the favorite
Brittney was the slutty dingy girl
Sara Silverman was the disaffected sarcastic/mean girl
and Kid Rock and Tommy Lee were the idiots that fight.
MTV suck$. they should have stuck to Singled out and Remote Control.

ANd when I was reading the preshow stuff, they were saying that the show was going to focus more on performances rather than awards....
OK, so an awards show without awards, a video channel without videos......what the?....

OMG! I loved Remote Control!
DH was saying it must pizz off the artists that they have to make videos for their songs, and then MTV shows like 30 seconds of it on TRL, but will re-run the Hills 8,000 times during the week.
