Movement decreasing?

I am 24w and until Wednesday I was feeling movement like clockwork in the morning, in the evening, and after each meal.

Yesterday after dinner I sat down to wait for her to start kicking and nothing! Last night, nothing.

This morning I felt little stuff going on but couldn't be sure it was her, so I drank orange juice which always seems to get her going.... NADA! Is that normal? I thought movement was supposed to increase.

I also just recently poped again so I am wondering if maybe that gave her more room to move around?

Are you hydrated? Either way I would call the doctor and let them know. I know my doc said if I didn't feel the baby during a certain period of time (I want to say a day) to call.

Re: Movement decreasing?

This happened to me recently. I ended up calling the doctor because no matter what I did I just didn't feel enough movement. I ended up going in and things were fine. They said to always call if you are unsure! No harm in that!

Try drinking water or something with caffeine like a mocha frapp from McDonald's that always gets my bean moving.

I would call your doctor. I'm sure everything is ok but my doctor told me that after I eat to do a kick count and if I don't feel 10 movements in an hour to call.

Re: Movement decreasing?

Sometimes I feel the same way and I'm 25 weeks, I was chalking it up to the fact that we're right around the time that we'll start feeling frequent movements, and I'm just not there yet feeling them ALL the time. But I agree it's odd if you've already felt frequent movements and then nothing, call the doc just to see if they can get you in to check everything, if you feel off it's always better safe than sorry! Thanks ladies!!! I tried drinking and eating everything that makes Her move. Finally, in my last effort before I called the dr. I got into my most favorite position and just relaxed. BAM!!!! She has been twisting and kicking me non stop for 10 minutes. Chat Icon

Whatever it was I am glad she is back to kicking the crud out of me.
