most favorite baby items?
What have been some of your most favorite, useful baby items? I would like to get a coworker a shower gift - I wanted to give a bunch of little things... so far for ideas I have the RaZbaby teether binky, Healthy Sleep Habits, Happy Child book, maybe a swaddleme...
Any other suggestions? TIA!

One of the best gift baskets I received contained lots of little toiletries and health care essentials like a baby nail clipper, baby nail files, hairbrush, comb, medicine droppers, medicine binkies, medicine spoons.
Things that I never thought of because I was so focused on the big items.
People tend to like to buy big ticket items or theme things, so often the little things are never purchased.

gerber cloth diapers (use them as a burp cloths, blanket, bib, etc)
IKEA makes a changing cover (not sure what it's called) that's perfect for taking the baby out. it folds up to look like a little frog and i take it everywhere

SOPHIE!!!!!!!!! I swore I would never go to another baby shower without her again...HANDS DOWN the best you spent how much on that stupid toy, gift you could EVER give! She is worth every freaking penny and then some!

Aden & Anais swaddler blankets or burpy bips. They are amazing. I use the bibs as burp cloths or as bibs for DD every feeding. She also loves cuddling them when we're out.

books are always a good gift - i like board books bc they are more durable and many classics come in board books.
a super-soft blanket
someone got me this blanket from the gap its like a seude material on one side and like a wooly fabric on the other - so warm - great for the winter - loved that!
One of my favorite baby items was a masher i bought for making my own baby food it was $6 best thing i ever bought. its abowl with grooves and then a hand-masher

We have over 20 books, and I have to tell you its not enough! We need more for the car, stroller and bed time. He likes to read before his naps.
cloth books and board books, any kind of peekaboo books, any kind of books with pictures of animals or babies
