Mosquitos...
does anyone else think that this is a really bad year for them? I cant even walk out of my house with out getting eaten alive!
That being said.. what are you doing to help the situation. We will be having DS baptism party at out house in a few weeks and I dont want my friends and family getting attacked.
Just to add.. we have no bushes in our yard, we recently removed them and that seemed to help a bit

OMG, I'm in Oceanside too and it's awful this year..AWFUL..DD has been eaten up alive I feel so badly for her bc she always wants to be outside, I follow her with the california baby citronella spray like a lunatic...and I'm getting bitten like crazy, I feel like this year is baaaaad

Home Depot sells this yard spray that helps ALOT! They also sell these mosquito traps/fans that attract the mosquitos (via propane tanks) and kills them instantly. Those can be a little expensive. But the spray helps

DH sprayed the yard with an insect killer trying to kill fleas. it worked really well for the mosquitos, but I don't believe its good a natural thing which isn't always good. but he got it at home depot. maybe spray your yard
they also sell the mosquitos deleto machine that hooks up to a propaine tank, that works awesome!!

It does, but I spray it incessantly....I have two bottles and after she got eaten alive (I'm not even exagerrating) it seems to have helped with her not getting bitten...Obviously the day she got bitten up I didn't have it on her!

We got a Mosquito Magnet and it does seem to be helping somewhat....
I have heard that if you put a fan(s) where you are sitting, mosquitos will stay away

we have a company come in and spray 5 times during the summer (from late April to early October). They use an all organic formula.
We haven't been bitten once this year!

we signed a contract for the year and I believe it was $230. It's through Long Island Tree Care. For just a single spray, I believe its around $85.
