Morning Sickness?
I'm just starting week 5 ........and I keep reading that if you're prone to motion sickness, you'll almost 100% have terrible morning sickness ..........
Soooo, I'm bracing myself b/c I get seasick, sick on roller coasters, etc etc etc .........but, so far, no MS -
Could it be I'm going to escape it? Or is just way too early to tell?
TIA !!

Re: Morning Sickness?
You might not get it, but it might be too early. Sometimes it doesn't kick in until 6-8 weeks, if at all. Hang in there and think positive!

Oh, I know myself. I'm sure it's going to kick in at some point. I need to psych myself up to handle it !! I'm thinking it's just early now -

Re: Morning Sickness?
It's def early, but very possible you may just get waves of nausea and not so much of the m/s.

Same here. It also didn't kick in until I was 9 weeks. For the first week or so, it was pretty much 24 hours a day, but once it started to subside, it was mostly at night.

In general, I get nauseous very easily-- and I was SO SCARED for morning sickness. Believe me, there were times when I wanted to puke, but I just never did. At the end of it though-- I figured I was probably pretty lucky.

This isn't true I am horrible motion sickness.
I never got M/S though. I figured I would since i also have a middle ear deafness that makes me a lil off kilter (in more ways than one )
I'd say stop reading that stuff. If you get it, you get it, if you don't, you don't.

Re: Morning Sickness?
I get motion sickness too. I had some minor nausea from time to time and noticed I would sometimes get motion sickness on the train or on short car rides, but it was never terrible, and I never threw up.

Re: Morning Sickness?
It's still too early to tell whether you'll have morning sickness. I get seasick very easily and sometimes can't handle long car or bus rides. I started feeling nauseous 24/7 almost immediately after getting my BFP. I didn't actually get sick until 6 weeks. If you haven't had any nausea by 8 or 9 weeks, you're probably in the clear.

Re: Morning Sickness?
I thought I was clear of morning sickness because I felt none of it during Week 5. Then it hit full force Week 6 and am suffering from severe morning sickness during Week 7.

Don't count those chickens before they hatch! I am prone to the worst motion sickness ever --boats, cars, amusement park ride...
I have the WORST m/s and it didn't kick in till 7 weeks.

Re: Morning Sickness?
I dont have motion sickness, never got sick on a roller coaster, etc...and I had morning sickness for 10 weeks. It kicked in for me at week 6. Up until week 6, I felt great...nothing different at all.

Re: Morning Sickness?
I felt great at 5 weeks. Then just as a I hit 6 weeks, Morning sickness hit hard. I'm 10 weeks now, and I just started feeling better.
Oh, and I never get motion or sea sickness.
