Monday is the BIG DAY!!!
At my appointment today (I'm 39w5d) I am STILL just 1 cm dilated (have been for FOUR APPOINTMENTS now). Baby's head is way high, and I've been having issues with my pelvis not spreading (so much for the hip pain I've been suffering since 10 weeks!). No contractions, no nothing, and a baby measuring approximately 9 lbs. 6 oz. 
OBs broach the subject of a scheduled c-section and discuss all of the reasons why they think it is a good idea. I have gone into this pregnancy thinking that I trust my OBs and will pretty much do what they tell me is the best way to go, so I accept, and now we've got our eviction notice!  will join us on Monday morning!
I've had a lot of small complications this pregnancy that on their own might not be so bad (well, except the incompetent cervix thing ... that was more than a small complication!) but all added together would make a vaginal delivery nearly impossible.
I am so excited, nervous, thrilled, etc. etc. etc. I don't even know what to feel first! I'm just happy to have an end in sight.
