How did you and your DH have the talk about starting a family?
We were at Pre-Cana in December and we decided that after we got married we would stop "preventing" and "see what happens." So here we are...seeing what's happening and it is driving me nuts!

i don't know exactly how we started talking about it. I think the topic would just come up little by little and we would just start talking more in depth about it. We just ended up decided to stop preventing and see what happens.

We talked about it before we got married. DH wanted to started almost right after we got married but I told him I wanted time for ourselves being married and he agreed. This past year we did what we like to do one more time knowing we were going to start trying.

we talked about it casually before we were married and for our 1st year of marriage. We had the year we wanted to start trying and once that year came it was like WHOA and obviously became much more serious talk about exactly when to go off BC

We've always talked about having kids. We were just waiting to get married. Once we were we just started ttc, there wasn't really a specific talk about it.

We started talking about it right away because we're both compulsive planners. But it was always "next year". We did that for 3 and a half years and then finally we stopped preventing it.

we knew we wanted kids early on in our marriage (we have been married for a little over a year) so we just knew. we have been together for so long, we never had one "talk" we've always just talked about it

we always talked about it. omg i remember before our wedding almost 2 years ago i was telling him i wanted to have a baby i used to dream that i had a baby bump in my wedding dress! LMAO!! back then i had baby fever but knew there was no way i was seriously ready for one.
after we bought our house last year and we moved we really started talking about it more seriously.
by the summer it was all we talked about and a month ago we decided we were ready for it...

Ugh...it was such an upsetting sad conversation for me.
We were married about 6 months when I brought up children again...
He all of the sudden didnt want what I had wanted all along and that was a family. That was the first I had ever heard that from him. 
We talked long and hard about it. He realized he was more terrified than opposed to it. We decided to wait until our 2nd year anniversary to give him more time and here we are... 1.5 years later. I wish I could say he is THRILLED about it now but I cant. I CAN honestly say he has accepted it and is fully "coorprative".
Not quite the way I had always dreamed of this exciting time but I am happy and I know he will be too once he sets eyes on his future adorable offsprig
