I never stopped and she was 20 months when DS was born. I had too much guilt to stop - thinking when he was born I wouldn't be able to pick her up anymore!

thanks guys! i still pick him up a lot but i thought i wasn't doing the right thing. it's just so hard carrying him in from the garage to the 2nd floor with bags and jackets. guess i better get used to it b/c soon i'll be carrying 2!

DD loves to walk and walks up and down the stairs holding my hand which is a big help - but she still loves to be carried sometimes. I plan on carrying her until I either physically can't or my OB tells me I can't. She is only 18 months - and on the small side so it isn't like she is a 3 year old who wants to be carried all over so I don't have a problem with carrying her when she wants it.

Last week when my Dr threatened to put me on bed rest if I did not "take it easy."
I hate it. It breaks my heart that I cannot pick him up. Instead I have DH pick him up and give him to me.

I am due in a week and haven't stopped. By kids are 2 (29 lbs) and 3.5 (40lbs). It is getting harder to carry the big one to bed especially when she falls asleep on the floor. I always say, just bc I am pg I can't stop being a mommy to my other kids.

32 weeks prego, dd is 15m.. not sure on her weight.. find out today.. but still picking her up.
