Moms who use Up & Up (Target Brand) Formula
Did you use it from the beginning? If not, at what age did you start using it. Someone told us that we can't use it until the babies are a few months old. Right now i am BF'ing and they are both on my milk only. But as their feeds increase, i know i wont be able to keep up. I planned on using Up & Up formula. They will be exactly 13 weeks (6 weeks adjusted age as they were preemies) when they go to daycare. It should not be a problem using the target brand, right? TIA!

DD was around 15 weeks when I started her due to the Similac recall. Took a few days to adjust but she was fine.

We switched to it from Similac RTF after a few months. But I plan to use it from the beginning with DC #2. I don't see why you couldn't?

I don't remember when but it was right when Similac had their recall. I had tried all the other formulas that my Ped recommended but nothing worked with DS. The Up & Up was the only thing that worked & even after the recall, we tried to switch back to Similac & my DS had a reaction.

I used generic from day one. Or actually after we ran out of the hospital stash. My ped said it's the exact same thing. We started with BJ's but when she needed an AR formula, BJ's didn't hav e it so we went to Up and Up. She never had an issue.

I did start after the first 3 months with the store brand...... I nthought it doesn't seem as finely ground as the brand name. thats why I waited.

We started after a few months, but just because the Enfamil started adding up so quickly! I don't see why it would be a problem to start right away. I have compared the ingredients and they are reallt the same.
