Moms who formula feed & supplement
I pump and produce around 4oz of BM/day. So, DD is eats 4oz of formula every 3 hours, and one bottle of breastmilk per day. Problem is---after she takes the BM, she's terribly hungry for more. Instantly. The ped told me that BM doesn't fill them up as much as formula, but i'm feeling so deflated to give her a small bottle of formula right after the breastmilk.
Has anyone else gone through this?
It makes me want to give up.

Re: Moms who formula feed & supplement
I had to supplement DS with formula from day 1 because I wasn't producing enough milk. Don't give up or feel bad about giving DC a little formula after the BM. You are feeding your baby and there is nothing to feel bad about! It's great that she has such a good appetite, means she's growing and thrivig

Same with me. Dd always wanted more bm, and I was only able to pump so much for her. We always gave formula, and eventually did all formula around 6 weeks

thank you guys! I love the fact that I can provide for her, but her incredible appetite makes me feel frustrated at times
