Ques for moms who formula feed
To make a long story short, I have been supplementing breastmilk with Alimentum formula. It has been confirmed that DD does not have any allergies, so I would like to switch to Advanced and save some $$$. Is there any special way to switch, or can she drink Alimentum one day and then the next drink Advanced? TIA

My ped said to mix half old formula with half new for 2 - 3 bottles then just give full bottle new formula. Similar to how we changed our dogs food too

How much formula does your DC get each day? If its a decent amount I would do a slow transition. She will probably be fine but might reject due to taste. When I went from Good Start to Similac, I did 4oz GS and 2Sim for 2 days then upped 1more of Sim every 2 days. DS was 100% FF during this time.
When I originally switched formula when DS was 2 weeks I was BF and he was only getting about 4oz of formula a day so my ped said I could just switch. Which I did and he was fine.

We did a 50/50 mix when transitioning from one formula to the other. Every other day I reduced the old formula by an ounce and upped the new formula by the same amt.

DD gets 6-8 oz a day, it's not a large intake. But just in case, I will try mixing the two. Thanks ladies!
