moms of 6-7 month olds, how much is your DC eating?
How much formula/BM is your DC eating a day? and how much/often are they eating solids? DD is 6 months old and doesn't eat much at all! Lately it is 4 bottles a day with anywhere from 4-6 ounces. Wakes up in the middle of the night and will take anywhere from 3-6 ounces. Solids - 1 Tb of cereal in the morning (but lately nothing!!) 1 Tb of cereal at night with 1/2 jar of veggies (again nothing lately!)
She doesn have a stuffy/runny nose for the past few days and is teething so I am hoping this is why she is not eating much.... Just curious about the rest of you... Thanks..

DS is 7 months and eats about 28 ounces of formula. He also has a couple tablespoons of cereal with 2 cubes of fruit and also 3 cubes of a veggie.

Re: moms of 6-7 month olds, how much is your DC eating?
My DD is 9 months, and she's been on solids since 6 months, but barely. She still really has absoltutely no interest in food. She takes between 24-30 oz of formula a da, and a couple of spoonfuls of cereal and fruit or veggie a day. It's a major chore to just get her to eat anything other than her bottle.
ETA: at 6/7 months old though, there's no reason to be concerned about how much solids they are eating as they still need to get their nutrion from formula/BM.

DS is 6 months. He nurses every 3-4 hours during the day & maybe once or twice at night. The he has one feeding of solids a day, but he doesn't always finish.

Re: moms of 6-7 month olds, how much is your DC eating?
ds is 6 months.
first bottle between 6-8am then the next three bottles spaced 4 hours apart. 28 oz- 8oz & oatmeal cereal 1/4 cup & tub of fruit. 6oz & rice cereal w/ fruit or veggie 8oz - no food 6oz tub of meat or veggie & sometimes a second tub of fruit.
last weekend he tried apple juice before the bottle but then barely drank the bottle.- like 3oz.
he's also allowed to start having yogurt- so at that third feeding I think we'll add the yogurt mixed with fruit & cut the bottle to 5-6oz.

Re: moms of 6-7 month olds, how much is your DC eating?
My DD will be 6 months tomorrow. She takes 6oz of formula just about every 4 hours all day. At night, I give her 7oz to try to get an extra hour or two out of her. So in total, she takes anywhere from 28-34oz of formula a day.
In addition, she gets 2.5 tablespoons of cereal in each bottle. So she is getting alot of cereal, but we need it to thicken her milk or else she spits it up too much.
I've also been trying to give her veggies every day. She only takes about a teaspoon at a time. She still can't get the hang of how to eat from a spoon.
