BTDT moms of 8.5 month olds (eating question)
Did your DC lose interest in formula at this age? we are offering DD 20oz of formula a day right now...i would say we are lucky if she drinks 14-17oz of it.
This is her day right now:
7am 5oz bottle
7:30 cereal
12pm 2 cubes veggie, 1 cube fruit (normally)
5oz bottle (not sure if she drinks all of it shes at the sitters and DH dosent get updates when he picks her up)
4-4:30- 2 cubes veggie (not eating all of it) offered 5 oz bottle only drinks 2-3oz
6:30-7- cereal
offered 5oz bottle again drink 2-3 if we are lucky 4oz
Im so scared shes not eating enough but she just loses interest...shes teething right now and having some pretty bad diapers, does anyone think thats the reasons shes not eating as much? she used to eat and drink all that was offered to her now it seems to be less and less everyday!

DD is almost 8 months and only drinks about 20oz a day. Sometimes even less. She has never been a great eater though, before starting solid food she was only drinking about 24-26oz a day. But she is gaining weight consistantly and the ped is not worried so we're not worried.

she was eating like 24-26 but i started giving her more fruits and veggies so i cut back the formula...i have no clue what is right and what is wrong

If you are really concerned then I would put a call in to the ped and ask their advice....my ped said she should be drinking at least 24oz on a daily basis but she barely did that before she started solid foods. She just went to the doc for a sick visit and she had gained 1 1/2 lbs since her 6 month visit so I figure she's ok.

they usually start drinking less when they are eating food...
I BF so I never knew how many oz but DD has been BFing 3x/day and the sessions definitely decreased.
She also lost interest in baby food and has been on table food since about 8 months.
