Moms of 2 year olds - what's in the Easter baskets?
For Cailen, he is getting Wubzy figures, Wonder Pet figures, a mini wiffle ball set, a Dora notebook (he begged me for it  ) bath crayons, a few little balls, stickers, and eggs that look like sport balls.... no candy - he doesn't like them, except lollipops - so I may put one big one in...

I did plastic eggs which we'll hide around the yard (weather permitting) or house. They will have coins in them since she LOVES to put them in the bank jar. I got her little Easter toys, a jumping chick...bunny bubbles...bendy rabbit...etc...and some m&m's (her FAVORITE). I also got the Yo Gabba Gabba little plastic figures...that I actually think you have Liza...so they'll be her one "present"
ETA - I forgot about Peeps!!! (shame on me!!)

Some plastic eggs with peeps in them (hence why she calls them peep cups ), some Curious George stickers, pencils, a notebook and a book, a ballerina book, some sidewalk chalk, bubbles, a big, huge lollipop, flash cards with sight words, more stickers, a little kit to make her own candy bracelet, two 25 piece puzzles and some jelly beans. Then, the Easter Bunny is leaving her Hi Ho Cherry-O, a pretend cash register that actually beeps when you scan something and a PJ Sparkles doll.

I am going to hide big plastic eggs with the mini Tonka trucks (thanks Ang! ) and some with jelly beans

Two Mellisa and Doug Puzzles, a Mr. Potato Head, Crayola bath markers, A little bunny on a train track set, a container of gerber graduate cheese puffs, a Hollow Chocolate bunny.
Plus we fill eggs and do a hunt inside and out...we filled those with cheez it's and yogurt drops and "maybe "a few m & m's.
Trying to avoid too much candy and Jelly beans are a choking habit at this age, but the cheez its only take us so far ...........

then we are having an easter egg hunt, most eggs are filled with $1, some have starbursts and one has a $5

Barbie Thumbalina dvd and doll, color wonder finger paints, baby doll diapers, and I must be getting old because I have forgotten what else I got . The rest is $1 stuff though.

We also have those plastic eggs that we will hide with matchbox cars and dinosaur figures in them.
In his basket is:
an Abby Cadabby coloring book (his girlfriend )
A dora memory game
The cars/dinosaurs that didn't fit in the eggs
Smaller plastic googly eyed eggs and cool car/train/plane shaped containers that we'll fill with cheerios and puffs
A bunny cup with a straw
A stuffed bunny
I'm sure grandma's basket will have a chocolate bunny in it, although he's not that big a fan. He'd rather have fruit. hmmmmm, maybe I should put some apples in there too
eta: we'll throw some loose change in the basket too, just like my parents did with us

A diver toy for the tub
Mr. Potato Head
Sidewalk chalk
Some Nemo dishes
A flashlight that shines pictures of bunnies and chicks on the wall.
Some eggs with fruit snacks in them
I'm also doing a little egg hunt in the yard or around the house and those have m&ms, cheerios, pretzels and goldfish in them.

My mom and I bought things for Sabrina and we will both put them in her basket. I got her a see and say toy of Baby Einsteins, a My Little Pony with bunny ears and a set of My little ponies that come inside of Easter eggs. I also bought a few Lindt chocolate lambs and a flowers to dress up the basket a bit.

OK... I am the worst mom now after reading this thread.
I bough PLAIN plastic eggs and there will be NOTHING in them. Just find the eggs in the yard and put them in the basket.

You are not the worst mom - I am -- I got him nada - nothing.
He gets so much from my parents and honestly, he is soooo not into opening gifts at this point - I refuse to buy him more crap just to buy it - oh and - he still has gifts from his birthday last June in the basement waiting to be opened!
