Re: Moms; did anyone NOT wear maternity clothes during pregnancy?
I find that big clothes never fit right. They pull everything to The front, and pull at the hips.

Moms; did anyone NOT wear maternity clothes during pregnancy?
Depends. I'm 38.5 weeks and I'm currently wearing a non-maternity shirt. Pants/jeans - no way would I be able to wear anything other than maternity. I actually stopped wearing my maternity jeans and have been living in maternity leggings and maxi skirts because they're more comfortable now that I'm at the end.

I like all my clothes to be fitted as I feel big clothes usually look frumpy. I also loved showing off my bump which I felt big clothes did not.

I bet you can find a bunch of second hand items on the FB buy/sell groups!!
As for me, my belly was gigantic with both pregnancies, so no way could I have worn regular clothes!

Ummmmm.... yeah, no. I needed maternity clothes by the time I was 10 weeks. And I carried small from what others told me.
same here!
i just posted on pregnancy board....maternity clothes were so worth it to me. i bought them early on and got great use out of them. plus i felt stylish and comfy.
old navy (online mostly), target, and destination maternity were my faves.

For pants I had to, your belly gets huge and the elastic on the leggings would bother me. I was also working so I need dress pants. Once the warm weather came in I bought a lot of dresses and just wore those. I stuck with Empire waist or stretchy dresses from Forever 21 since they are so cheap there. I did the same with tops, I would just buy larger sizes in forever 21.

I hated maternity clothes. I had 2 pairs of jeans that I got a lot of use out of but they were flare leg and that's not my preference. That's about it. I had 2 summer babies so I just wore stretchy tanks and basketball shorts. I did buy a few non maternity tops and gave away a maternity top with the tags still on

Victoria secret yoga pants. Don't fold them, pull them up and voila. I only bought two pairs of maternity slacks for when I went into my office (I mostly WFH). Otherwise it was yoga pants and cotton stretchy long sleeve tees from the gap and Kohl's.

Nope. I wore maternity clothes. Maybe talk to some friends or check online to buy them cheap.

Re: Moms; did anyone NOT wear maternity clothes during pregnancy?
I had some maternity clothes (mostly gifts from my MIL & a few I bought on clearance)but also wore a lot of my regular clothes, and just stretched them over my belly (I carried small). Some of my pants I could zip but not button, so I'd just do that & pull my shirt down over it.

Re: Moms; did anyone NOT wear maternity clothes during pregnancy?
It really depends. I wore a lot of non-maternity but couldnt have done so exclusively.
I had a few pairs of maternity bottoms (2 pairs of skinny jeans, one with belly panel one without, a pair of skinny dress pants, a pair of shorts) and a few work dresses for the very end. Otherwise I wore a lot of tanks one size up, empire waist dresses or dresses with stretchy/ruched tops, etc. I was pregnant during the summer so I was able to wear most non-maternity dresses. By winter I wore cardigans over my tank tops. But, if I wanted any chance at wearing pants they needed to be maternity.

Re: Moms; did anyone NOT wear maternity clothes during pregnancy?
i did not wear maternity clothes. I had maybe 2 dresses i was given as gifts, but I wore each once.
I'm overweight, and i did not gain any weight when I was pregnant. My pants always had room under the waistband, so when my belly started growing, it just filled out that space. I was already wearing loose clothing so it just got a bit tighter. I did buy two pairs of pants one size up and that was enough.
