I don't have a pic anymore, but I wore a yellow wrap dress...I wanted to look pretty and I feel most comfortable in a dress. Wear what you feel good in

See, I love dresses and that is why I want to wear a dress but my friend insists that it's not a good idea because I may have to keep running after Ella.

I wore a "right below the knee" skirt & a tank top to dress it down with flip flops. The party was at white post farms so I wanted to be comfortable but still look good as I stepped in horse S**t!!!

Not the best pictures but it gives you an idea.
I say what you want and you will feel good in. You really won't be holding Ella as much as you think unless she is clingy that day. I am sure you will look great no matter what.

Well ours was in the backyard...I actually changed before cake, but was very casual. (we had a red/white/blue theme)

I had a backyard BBQ and I wore a black dress. Like a shirt dress on top with short sleeves and with a belt and a fuller skirt bottom.
It only got messed up because DH let DS put his foot on the cake icing (not on purpose though!!!) and it got over my dress. But since it was cotton, I just went to get a wet washcloth and wipe it down.

We had a backyard party in April. It was a gorgeous day! I wore jeans and a coral 3/4 sleeve top with a tie on the top front. Very casual.
