I know there are lot of places, but some are better than others....I figured it might be helpful to create a thread....

I haven't done it anywhere at Smithhaven (prob b/c its our closest mall!) but I LOVE LOVE LOVE the mother's rooms in Nordstrom in Roosevelt Field. Maternity Works in the Source is also somewhat nice....the workers have always been so sweet when i go in....the source also has a family room by the food court but I feel it would be more rushed to try there (I haven't yet!)

I also have bf in a few fitting rooms too.....and of course bru (I like the commack and westbury ones better than the Holbrook one) and my car (we have tinted back windows and its an suv so you are up high and no one can really see!) I have seen a sign for bbb's family/mother's room but it didn't seem that nice.....

Hmmm... I don't think this is what you were looking for but...

I breastfed at car dealerships in the service area waiting room. In the middle of a food court at the mall. At a rest stop on 95. My dentist's office. At a table in Friendly's....

If you are wearing the right clothes no one can see what you are doing. People would rather see you discretly nursing than hear a crying baby!

I've nursed so many places. I just won't in public. I don't think it's appropriate. JMO!

I've nursed in many dressing rooms (great place), bathrooms at restaurants(handicapped stall with a chair... yes I bring one in ), in nursing/mothers room, in the car (secluded areas in parking lots), etc. Pretty much anywhere private I can find!

I also did pretty much anywhere in private that I could find, wether it be bathrooms or fitting rooms.

This time around though, I might just do it in public if I have to. If my child is hungry, and if I cover up, I think I can get past the embarassment....

Babies r us mothers room, Fitting room at Macy's (and other stores like Bloomies, etc), fitting room at Sports Authority, my car

I've BF just about everywhere. Supermarkets, retaurants, malls, etc.
no one can see what I'm doing, so I'll BF anywhere I have to. I would never hide to BF, if I did that I would never get anything done.

At my future place of employmrnt yesterday!
He was hungry and I was visiting so they volunteered to give me a room for a few min. I can't wait until I work there! Hopefully I'll still BF.

I can't bf in public yet...

Any dressing room works for me! who cares about security cameras

I BF Julia everywhere and I didn't have a problem, I didn't mind nursing in public also.
