MMR rash?
DS got the MMR vaccine 11 days ago and yesterday and today, he has little red dots all over him, not a TON but enough to notice that it isnt isolated. mainly on his face, arms, tushy
something completely unrelated or does it sound like an MMR reaction?

Re: MMR rash?
Sounds like a MMR reaction.. My dr warned me about it. Happens around 7-12 days after the shot..

Re: MMR rash?
Typical MMR reaction. DS got that and spiked a fever at day 10.

Re: MMR rash?
Definitely a reaction; I'd call ped.

Re: MMR rash?
Yes DS had this as well - started on his torso and arms and evetually on his neck and face I believe. His were alot especially on his torso. And, it bothered him. I thought that part was strange so I called the ped (otherwise I prob. wouldn't have) and he said it does bother them sometimes just FYI. Also, DS got a fever as well a few days after the rash appeared. hth!

Re: MMR rash?
he has been very cranky today. just agitated, crying for no reason, not happy with anything and now he has just been laying in his crib since 3pm but not sleeping just laying there playing quietly.
his behavior has been strange the past few days.

Re: MMR rash?
This happened to my DD just a few weeks ago! I freaked, but when I called the doctor he said it was most likely from the MMR since she did not have any other problems. He said I could bring her in to check, but I didn't, she was fine and it went away. If your DC starts to have a fever or vomiting, then I would bring him to the ped.

Re: MMR rash?
The nurse warned us about a rash and a fever to come 7-10 days after the shot. She got a rash but it went away in a few days. I dont know why doctors dont give that warning....it would have freaked me out too without one.
