MMR shot & Rash
DD got her MMR shot last Wednesday. Sunday her right ear, the right side of her face and neck got really red, swollen and warm to the touch. I gave her benedryl and it went away. Then yesterday the same thing happened to the left side of her face and ear. My grandmother (who watches DD) didn't give her anything, so when I went to pick her up and saw it I call the ped., brought her in and they don't know what it is but didn't think it was from the shot because it was on 4 days later, told me to give her benedryl again. This time after 2 doses of benedryl it still did not completely go away. She has no fever and is acting fine.
Has anyone else experienced anything like this with the MMR vaccine?

with MMR DD1 got the fever at 8 or 9 days and the rash a few days later. it was tiny red dots all over her body. it took about 5 days for those to go away.
