Milk coming back in???????????????????????
I've been working as a mommy's helper for one of my friends this summer. She just had her son about 7 weeks ago.... He's having issues today, and of course while my g/f is out running errands. So he's crying, and all of a sudden, my right nip starts burning.... I go to rub it, and a fingerful of milk comes out!!!
WT H.... is that viable milk?

my firend actually told me that her milk did the same thing.....it came back after not feeding her DS for almost a year!

It is viable but probably tastes really salty-you'd have to do a lot of work to make it appealing to a baby The sodium content is increased when you don't pump or BF for a while

Yep it is milk....my neighbor told me this happened to her when she was watching another baby 2 years after she stopped nursing her DD.

YES. happened to my friend more than 2 years after she stopped BF ing.
She was at a friend's wedding with her DH and someone's baby started crying. little bit later her DH pointed out that she had a big stain on her dress on a boobie area and she realized that it was BOTH OF HER NIPPLES LEAKING MILK So much that it went through her padded bra After that her boobs would "leak" every time HER DD whined or cried (for about 2 weeks) and then it just stopped.
