Milk and Daycare question

Mason is still on a bottle. He's 14 months and gets 4 bottles a day. Has issues with any sippy cup I've tried and we're working on the straw with him. He gets water in the sippy straw.

So, I think I found a good sippy cup for him that may work since it's more like a nipple, but not a bottle.

Anyway, here's my thing. I bring in 3 bottles to daycare. When I eventually do switch to a sippy cup do I bring in 3 different cups?

What do you do at daycare?

Thanks!

Funny because I am thinking the SAME thing as you! We're in the same boat. I'd love to hear responses:)

Re: Milk and Daycare question

I guess it depends on the daycare, but when DS was in daycare I only brought in two sippies - one for water/juice and the other for milk, and they would fill them up with either water or whole milk as needed.

Yes. DD gets two different sippy cups with milk sent to daycare with her.

ETA: Her daycare does not supply milk.

Re: Milk and Daycare question

Yes, they are not allowed @ my daycare to use the same cup -
So I bring Sean 4 sippy cups for the day (he doesn't get a bottle during the day any more)

Re: Milk and Daycare question

Thanks all! I guess I'll buy a bunch of sippy cups since I know his daycare won't fill them up.

Same for DD's daycare. They have a sink in her room so they wash it between milk use.

Re: Milk and Daycare question

As long as DS was not drinking out of an open cup, I brought in whatever he would drink for the day - first bottles, then sippys.

They would occasionally refill a sippy, but in general they asked you to bring whatever the child needed for that day.
